Problem Statement
Limelight's clients needed a consolidated, streamlined, efficient software-based PAAS to support its core business offerings with current and future partners.
Goals
- Eliminate paper based work processes, build efficient storage assets, reduce underwriting costs.
- Deploy a stable v1.0 of proprietary PAAS quoting tool aligned with customer and KPIs.
- Reduce client quoting times across multiple metrics and measurable data.
Design Research
- Travel to client sites to conduct Contextual Interviews with product managers and stakeholders.
- Record and index all client interviews to enhance product feature specification.
- Build agile prototypes in Sketch and Invision to quickly measure and test proposed solutions.
I inventoried existing user experience to understand the problem context.
Design Process
- I Led Product team first through personae, journey maps, wireframe, early product sessions.
- Deployed an optimized component library in line with brand and engineering best practices.
- Created high level journey map from preliminary discovery
After understanding problem context I designed an optimized dashboard portal.
Successful Outcomes
- Accurate Zeplin prototypes aligned with design best practices deployed to sharable URLs.
- Complete prototypes used to test design and test ux solutions, feedback integrated back to team.
- Tracking toward larger company goal to grow partner base with PAAS contracts and agreements.
