Problem Statement
Customers lacked both a sufficient way to organize their music libraries, and an engaging iOS app for acquisition and on-boarding growth targets.
Goals
- Deploy a usable iOS app to help users ID any given song to generate new acquisition opportunities.
- Create a retro, fun and functional engagement tool based on song ID and device libraries.
- Create iOS app as partnering tool with key media space actors.
Design Research
- Working fast, I quickly wireframed basic user flows of key application in Axure.
- I quickly prototyped and iterated on multiple versions for review and testing.
- I worked with head of product and CEO to quickly evaluate iOS and desktop apps.
I quickly mocked up lo- and mid-fi prototypes of different PAAS configurations.
Design Process

- Successfully onboarded 7% new customers over measured quarters.
- App became #1 iTunes plugin over duration of product testing.
